‘Little People, Big World’: Jacob Roloff Wrote That He Was Characterized As a ‘Brat’ on the Show

We’ve been watching Little People, Big World for nearly a decade and a half — and we’ve also watched the entire family grow up along the way, too. While the last season featured Matt and Amy Roloff’s post-divorce drama with Roloff Farms, we also saw their son, Zach, and his wife, Tori, as they raised their son, Jackson. There are quite a few members of the Roloff family who are no longer featured on the show, however. And the most infamous of all might be Jacob.

Jacob is the youngest of the Roloff kids and chose to leave the show on his own accord. Since his leaving, he’s also been quite vocal about what he thinks of LPBW and reality TV in general. And it seems he also believes the show producers made his character look like the “brat” of the family.

Jacob Roloff explained why he left Little People, Big World on Instagram

Jeremy and Molly Roloff, Matt and Amy’s other kids who are missing from the show, also chose to leave LPBW behind — but it was Jacob who made the biggest splash on his way out. Back in 2016, he wrote a lengthy post on Instagram explaining why he would never be back on the show, either. And it all had to do with how production seemed to make “characters” out of his family members over time.

“For me, noticing how the agenda of the crew doesn’t work well with the health & happiness of our family is what made me decide quite a while ago that I would not be a part of it as soon as I was able,” Jacob wrote. And while he did note that many good, well-meaning folks were a part of the show’s production, everyone had their own personal agenda in mind — and that was to make good TV. “So, I am with my family and I love them I’m just here to say you’ll never see that from me on TV again,” he continued.

He explained in a blog post that his ‘character’ on the show was a total brat

Jacob went into some detail on Instagram, but it’s his Rock & Roloff blog where he explains his feelings even further. In this blog post, Jacob explains that he decided he would stop taking part in production once he hit 18 years old, and it was met with some pushback and controversy. He then wrote that many folks who didn’t understand how the process works may think less of him for making money off of the show as a youth and then abandoning it once he hit adulthood, but he further explained the complexities behind it all. Not only that, but Jacob also noted that during production, the show’s creators made him look particularly bratty on the show.

“Obviously I was a brat sometimes, which would be abnormal if I wasn’t, but Created Character Jacob from Little People Big World was a brat in totality,” he wrote in the post. “Dad: Creative; Mom: Controlling; Zach: Angry; Molly: Smart (okay that one is on point); Jeremy: Adventurous; and Myself: Brat. That’s quite a dynamic cast! It’s too bad that people take those caricatures as Gospel. Although it really speaks to the talent of an editor that can sculpt such believable personalities.”

Jacob seems to have a better relationship with his family today

Jacob’s relationship with his family could have taken some heat after he decided to leave LPBW behind. Back in 2015, we can’t forget that he sent out an alarming tweet suggesting he was cheated out of money from the show, too. And there have been plenty of rumors to suggest he doesn’t get along with Matt or his sister-in-law, Audrey.

Thankfully, it seems like the dark days are behind Jacob. He’s preparing to marry his beautiful fiancee, Isabel Rock, and he’s often featured on his family’s Instagrams, too. Recently, Matt posted a photo of Jacob trying on suits for his big day, too, which further proves whatever alleged feud they may have had has been totally squashed. We’re hoping all the Roloffs are exactly where they want to be and pursuing what they wish to go for in life, with or without the show!

Based on one of the most recent clips Audrey Roloff posted on Instagram, her brother-in-law, Jacob Roloff, is the most “tolerant” and patient uncle ever. In the new clips, which were posted on Audrey’s Instagram Story, Jacob could be seen playing with his niece, Ember, as she tries to dress him up in a princess-approved look.

“@jacobroloff45 such a tolerant uncle,” Audrey captioned the clips on her Instagram Story, and added a few laughing emojis.

“Don’t leave,” the little one cautioned Jacob in one clip, wanting him to keep still so that she could place a tiara on his head. The youngster eventually managed to fashion the tiara on his head, prompting Jacob to say that he’s “all set, ready to go.”

It’s so nice to see Jacob bonding with the youngest members of the family, especially since it was rumored that the former reality star was previously estranged from the older Roloffs because of their TLC series Little People, Big World. Back in 2016, Jacob announced that he was leaving the reality show that brought his family into the spotlight.

“For me, noticing how the agenda of the crew doesn’t work well with the health happiness of our family is what made me decide quite a while ago that I would not be a part of it as soon as I was able,” he wrote at the time and added that his family members became “Roloff Characters” on the show.

“As soon as the cameras drop however, its almost like they never played the part,” he continued. “20 minutes after this picture was taken we all, plus friends, had a campfire late into the night. So, I am with my family and I love them I’m just here to say you’ll never see that from me on TV again.”

While there were rumors of a feud between Jacob and his father, Matt Roloff, it seems like all is well in the family again as the former Little People, Big World star has been spotted with members of his family on numerous occasions. Back in February 2019, Jacob posted a photo with another one of his adorable nephews, Jackson Roloff, the son of Zach and Tori Roloff.

“Jackson just loves throwin the ball for his dog cousins,” he captioned a photo of himself and his nephew, who were both dressed up in their coziest winter gear.

Just like Audrey expressed on Instagram, all of these snaps with the little ones in the family prove that Jacob is not only a tolerant uncle but a fun one, too.

Beautiful memories were made at the Roloff Family Farm on Saturday, September 7! Little People, Big World star Jacob Roloff wed his girlfriend, Isabel Rock, in a stunning outdoor celebration — and the pictures are swoon-worthy.

Hours after saying “I do,” the beaming bride and her handsome husband took to Instagram to share breathtaking photos from their special day. “We are married,” Rock captioned a pic that showed Roloff leading the way as they walked to take photos in a wooded area.

The artist’s post sparked a sweet reaction from the reality star. “My beautiful wife,” Roloff wrote in the comments section. Their rustic celebration featured string lights, fresh flowers and live music.

Rock stunned in a long-sleeve lace gown with a sheer back, and wore a green crown of leaves, that went well with their outdoor theme. Roloff, for his part, looked dapper in a dark tux. The pair exchanged emotional vows in an intimate elopement along the coast. The stunning footage was captured in a beautiful video by Chris from Good Co. Studios.

Jeremey Roloff shared a family photo from the joyous occasion that shows the couple surrounded by him and his wife, Audrey, their mom, Amy Roloff, dad, Matt Roloff, brother Zach Roloff and his wife, Tori Roloff. The sweet snap also featured Jeremy and Audrey’s daughter, Ember, 23 months, and Zach and Tori’s 2-year-old son, Jackson.

“What a celebration! Congratulations Jacob and Isabel on taking the ultimate step of love – total commitment,” Jeremy wrote alongside the photos. “The final step being living it out! So excited for you guys! Welcome to the family sister! We’re all married, and the family continues to grow!”

Tori, who is currently pregnant with her and Zach’s second child, also posted a heartfelt tribute to the newlyweds. “We LOVED celebrating our uncle Jacob and now (officially) AUNT Isabel last night,” she captioned a series of pictures. “These two each have such big hearts and so much love to spread to people of all walks of life. Its been so fun watching these two grow more in love over the years and now I officially have another sister. Congratulations @jacobroloff45 and @isabelsofiarock ! Welcome to marriage club- the best club.”

‘LPBW’: Fans Are Freaking Out Over Tori Roloff’s Photos of Jacob Roloff’s Wedding

Fans of Little People, Big World remember when Matt and Amy Roloff were still together and they were raising their four young kids on Roloff Farms property. Today, their lives look totally different, as the kids all grew up to be adults. And while Matt and Amy are no longer together and not necessarily on the best terms, the whole family came together to celebrate the most controversial family member, Jacob.

Jacob is the youngest of his siblings and was the first to leave LPBW behind. Despite him no longer being on camera, he still has a strong social media following. And now that Tori Roloff just posted some photos to her Instagram of his wedding, fans are loving it. Here’s what everyone’s talking about.

Jacob Roloff definitely caused the biggest splash in the wake of leaving LPBW. Back in 2016, he wrote about his decision to leave the show in an Instagram post describing how much he dislikes the reality TV world. And while he made a few headlines at the time for his actions, he’s since gone on a completely separate life path than his siblings with his now-wife, Isabel Rock. After getting engaged in Iceland in December 2017, the two just had a wedding on the beach and had their wedding reception at Roloff Farms on Sept. 7, 2019.

Jacob and Isabel might not be the most traditional couple, but since all of the Roloff kids have had some part of their wedding on the farm property, they followed suit. Prior to the big day, Matt even posted all about how he was preparing the farm for the wedding on his Instagram. And Amy made it a point to stay on the farm property until the wedding day even though she technically sold her half of the farm to Matt.

The Roloffs shared some photos and videos of the big day

Prior to the wedding, Jacob and Isabel let their fans know they wouldn’t be televising their big day. Jacob has stated in the past that he never plans on making any sort of return to reality TV. And while Molly and Jeremy Roloff also chose to take a step back from the show, they still appear on-screen every once in a while. It’s doubtful Jacob and Isabel, however, will ever make their way on to Little People, Big World.

Even so, it looks like the couple will be sharing some photos from the wedding. People reports Jeremy and Audrey Roloff already had Instagram stories showing photos from the wedding reception on Roloff Farms. And Jacob and Isabel have started to add photos to their Instagrams of their wedding as well. “We’re married,” Jacob simply captioned this gorgeous long shot of him and the bride. And Isabel captioned this sweet photo of her and Jacob holding hands with, “We are married” and a crying face emoji.

Fans are loving Tori Roloff’s photos she added to Instagram

We’re sure the other Roloffs will be adding photos from the wedding to their Instagrams soon (and the wedding photographer, Monique Serra Photography, is adding photos to their Instagram of the event too). But so far, it seems fans are loving Tori Roloff’s wedding photos the most. “THEYRE MARRIED! We LOVED celebrating our uncle Jacob and now (officially) AUNT Isabel last night. These two each have such big hearts and so much love to spread to people of all walks of life,” Tori captioned her post of Jacob and Isabel’s wedding. “Its been so fun watching these two grow more in love over the years and now I officially have another sister.”

Tori’s photos show her son, Jackson, and Jeremy and Audrey’s daughter, Ember, all dressed up for the wedding — and that’s really what fans loved to see. “Jackson is seriously so gosh darn handsome. Love seeing the growing Roloff family together,” a fan commented. Another wrote, “My favorite picture hands down is Uncle Jacob looking at Jackson as Jackson looks at his new aunt.” “Tori you’re son is SO CUTE! I just LOVE HIS personality! God bless your family,” another added.

Congratulations are in order for the happy couple! We’re hoping to get updates on their happy life together soon.

‘Little People, Big World’: Why Fans Think Jacob Roloff Is Feuding With Older Brother Jeremy Roloff

Viewers have been keeping up with the Roloffs for over a decade, and a lot has changed since Little People, Big World first aired. It all began with Amy and Matt Roloff, a married couple with dwarfism who chronicled their lives with their four kids. Through the show, we got to know twins Zach and Jeremy and younger siblings Molly and Jacob. And while everyone in the family seemed to get along in the beginning, fans began to notice rifts between the Roloffs when Jacob decided to leave the show.

Today, Jacob, Jeremy, and Molly are rarely on the air, and fans are starting to think Jacob and Jeremy have major issues with each other. Here’s why there could be conflict.

Fans have known Jacob as the black sheep of the family for years

There’s always one member of the family who thinks and feels differently from the rest — and for the Roloffs, that seems to be Jacob. The youngest Roloff child has never been afraid to speak his mind, though it has brought him controversy a few times in the past. Back in 2015, he posted a tweet insinuating that he wasn’t being paid for the work he did with Little People, Big World as a child — and it totally ruined the happy facade viewers came to know and love from the family. Not only that, but fans were shocked when he announced on Instagram he was leaving the show and planned on never returning.

“I get comments on here all the time about how people ‘miss me on the show’ or telling me I should ‘do a few more episodes’ with the family; I’m posting this to say that that will never happen,” he announced on Instagram in 2016. “For me, noticing how the agenda of the crew doesn’t work well with the health & happiness of our family is what made me decide quite a while ago that I would not be a part of it as soon as I was able.” While he’s not the only one to quit the series (Jeremy and Molly are also off pursuing their own dreams and are no longer affiliated), he is the only member of the family to slam the show in such a way.

Jacob and Jeremy have totally different views on religion

Jackson’s almost 1 year old!! He loves those shoulder rides for suuuuure. Can’t wait for Ember to get back from Hawaii cause I honestly can’t get enough of these kiddos. (Also happy happy birthday to his fantastic momma @toriroloff!!!)

A post shared by Jacob Roloff (@jacobroloff45) on May 3, 2018 at 1:58pm PDT

There’s no doubt the Roloffs are a religious bunch, and Jeremy and his wife, Audrey, make it well known on social media. The two of them entered a covenant marriage from the start, and they even have a blog dedicated toward helping married couples grow their relationship with God and their faith. Audrey’s line of products, called “Always More,” is also rooted in her Christianity.

Jacob has taken to his blog to discuss religion in the past, Radar Online reports — and it’s clear his views are much different than Jeremy’s. As he wrote, “Christians as I have experienced them have assumed a real and damaging sense of superiority over all other belief systems. … They don’t pray for you though, they pray for themselves, their spiritual security, and out of pity that you aren’t as fortunate as they to be ‘in the know.’” Jeremy never commented on his brother’s absence of God in his life, but fans seemed to think Jacob’s post was directly aimed in Jeremy’s direction.

Jacob recently unfollowed Jeremy on Instagram

Happy birthday little brother! Hope you have a good one running the dogs, reading, probably playing chess, and of course driving ol ruby around. I always enjoy our convos and we look forward to having you guys over again soon for a fire. Love you brother, see you soon! Wish Jacob a happy birthday!

A post shared by Jeremy James Roloff (@jeremyroloff) on Jan 17, 2019 at 2:50pm PST

While the blog post discussing religion was enough to convince fans of a feud, there’s now even more reason to assume the brothers may be feuding — and that’s because Jacob unfollowed Jeremy from Instagram. Radar Online notes early in January 2019, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Jacob was no longer following Jeremy, though no other feud was reported, so it seemed like the action came out of nowhere.

It seems there are some theories as to why Jacob unfollowed Jeremy, however. We remember when Jacob unfollowed Audrey Roloff, Jeremy’s wife, a year prior — and that was seemingly due to their clashing religious views. Radar Online notes a source close to the family said, “People already know that he doesn’t really get along with Audrey. He thinks she’s too judgmental, and I’m guessing he just didn’t want to see her on his brothers’ account anymore.”

The youngest sibling of Little People, Big World, Jacob Roloff, got married to Isabel Sofia Rock. The two tied the knot after nearly a two-year engagement.

Roloff and Rock announced that they were engaged back in January of 2018. On a recent picture that Jacob posted on Instagram, he showed himself giving a piggy-back ride to his wife to be saying that he popped the question while the couple was away in Iceland on vacation. The magical moment happened on a frozen pond, during a beautiful sunset on Christmas night.

According to Us Weekly, the Little People, Big World star was married on Saturday, September 7 in a rustic farmhouse ceremony. The whole family turned out for the event which took place on the Roloff family farm, which had become a tradition for the close family. The farm boasts acres of space, as well as a huge farmhouse and white chapel. There had not been many photos released from the special day, but Tori Roloff made sure to snap a few and share them via her social media. One of the photos shows Tori, who is pregnant with her second child, and Zach, Jacob’s brother, posing with their son Jackson in front of the couple’s 1987 Westfalia Volkswagen camper van.

Older brother Jeremy also shared in the nuptial excitement and posted a photo of the newlyweds on his Instagram Story. The picture showed the bride smiling, wearing a lace sleeved gown, while her new husband wore red suspenders. Jeremy also happily announced that he was happy to have added a new sister to the family. Later in the evening, Jeremy also posted a video of other wedding guests around a campfire enjoying the live music being played. The happy couple’s niece and nephew, Ember Jean and Jackson, carried signs that read “just married” as the couple entered their reception as husband and wife; the two children made the crowd laugh as Jackson walked nervously behind Ember not wanting to cut in front of her. Both Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff attended the ceremony, even though the couple has had a hard time finalizing their long divorce.

Even though it may look like the toddlers stole the show, the couple was more than happy to share the spotlight with the younger generation. Fans of Little People, Big World wish Jacob and Isabel nothing but the best for their marriage, hoping that they might make an appearance on the new season of the TLC hit show.
