When a heart calls?

When the premiere of “When Calls the Heart” season 7 on Hallmark Channel comes on February 23, it will be a welcome party.

According to a new report from Entertainment Tonight, you will see episodes of the spin-off “Hallmark Movies Now” when Hope releases the following new episodes of season seven. If Hope Calls debuted on the streaming service last year, there will now be a chance to make a splash and get a little more attention.

In a statement about the change in planning, here’s what actress Morgan Kohan had to say on the website above:

“The fans can concentrate on both shows in one night. From Hope Valley to Brookfield City, I hope fans will fall in love with all characters and their themes of community, family and love. “

The heart will be broadcast at 20:00 on calls. Eastern Time, which means that When Hope Calls follows right after 9:00. Given that there are likely to be a number of flagship viewers who haven’t had a chance to watch the spin-off yet, this is hopefully a great opportunity. It can also be useful to strengthen the entire Hope Valley world for years and seasons to come. Not much has been said about the future, but we’re excited to hear a little more about it in due course.

Let’s hope that When Calls the Heart itself has a great season ahead with new adventures, great characters, and emotional stories. This show has a loyal following of Hearties for a reason – producers generally know the type of content they want to see.

Season 7 details will be added to CarterMatt in the coming weeks. So stay up to date and keep your eyes open!

When Will ‘When Calls the Heart’ S07 Air on Hallmark?

Hallmark Channel’s ‘When Calls the Heart’ is a Canadian-American drama that takes inspiration from Janette Oke’s eponymous book. Developed by Michael Landon Jr., it originally premiered on January 11, 2014. Since its debut, the show has been renewed for five additional seasons, with the sixth installment premiering in February 2019. After that, the show was again commissioned for a new season. Here’s all we know about ‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 7.

When Calls the Heart Cast: Who is in it?

Erin Krakow stars as the protagonist, Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton, an elite woman who heads to a small mining town in Western Canada and begins adjusting to the simple life in the countryside.

Joining her is Jack Wagner as Bill Avery, Martin Cummins as Henry Gowen, Pascale Hutton as Rosemary LeVeaux Coulter, Kavan Smith as Leland Coulter, Andrea Brooks as Faith Carter, Paul Greene as Carson Shepherd, Chris McNally as Lucas Bouchard, and Kevin McGarry as Nathan Grant.

Erin will, of course, be returning for the seventh season. It has been additionally confirmed that Paul Greene, Chris McNally, Jack Wagner, Kevin McGarry, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith will all be reprising their original roles. Lori Loughlin, who had starred in another lead role of Abigail from seasons 1 to 6, will not be seen in the upcoming installment, after her abrupt departure in the last season.

When Calls the Heart Plot: What is it about?

‘When Calls the Heart’ follows Elizabeth Thatcher, a teacher who hails from the upper strata of society. She arrives from the city and lands in the small country town of Coal Valley after having received her first assignment. Here, she needs to adjust to the simple rural life, which is often fraught with challenges.

Across the episodes, Elizabeth manages to charm her way but is unable to sway the Royal Northwest Mounted Police Constable Jack Thornton. He, in no way, is inclined to protect this wealthy young woman but he has been given the responsibility to look after her well-being. As the episodes progress, we witness how Elizabeth adapts to the ways of the countryside.

Another character in the series is the widow Abigail Stanton, who lost both her husband and son to an accident in the coal mine. Although the incident was due to the irresponsibility of the management, the women need to work there in order to feed themselves and their families. After the closure of the mine in season 2, the town of Coal Valley is now known as Hope Valley.

Of course, ‘When Calls the Heart’ is packed with complicated storylines and romantic entanglements. Season 6 continues chronicling the various experiences of Elizabeth across the episodes. However, it ends on a massive cliffhanger when we consider the young woman’s emotional turbulence. She chooses Lucas as her dance partner but when she sees Nathan, she is completely confused. The finale leaves us hanging right here.

Season 7 will start off by addressing this very cliffhanger and putting Elizabeth’s love life at the forefront. There will also be some big reveals. Lee comes up with some secrets about his past before Rosemary while Bill is gearing up for the legal case against Gowen. Meanwhile, Carson and Faith face some roadblocks in their relationship.

When Calls the Heart Season 7 Release Date: When will it premiere?

‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 6 premiered on February 24, 2019, on Hallmark Channel. After airing three episodes, the show went on a hiatus on March 10, 2019. It then resumed on May 5, 2019, and finished airing its ninth episode on June 2, 2019. The season finally wrapped up with a Christmas special on December 25, 2019.

On April 23, 2019, the series received its renewal for its seventh season. Hallmark has also announced its release date. ‘When Calls the Heart’ season 7 is slated to premiere on February 23, 2020, at 8 PM ET/ 7 PM CT with the first episode titled, “A Moving Picture.”.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead! Do not proceed if you haven’t watched “When Calls the Heart: Home for Christmas”!

Last year during the When Calls the Heart Christmas movie, it was all about The Greatest Christmas Blessing (the birth of baby Jack!). But this year, our favorite characters in Hope Valley took time to enjoy Christmas at Home, and what a joyous time at home it was!

Not only did Lucas help put together a holiday festival, he also pulled off a stunning light display that illuminated the sky and left the town completely breathless. Rosemary, Lee and Bill worked overtime to get Little Jack the perfect first birthday gift, as Nathan struggled with the decision to accept a job promotion in a new city. (Thankfully, he decided to stay with his niece, Allie, in Hope Valley!)

Of course, we also saw romantic relationships progress between Faith and Carson and Clara and Jesse, but let’s be honest, we’re still full of so many questions and can’t wait to see what happens next. Keep reading below to see our exclusive interview with WCTH executive producer Alfonso H. Moreno, who dished on all the romantic developments and challenges that lie ahead.

Hallmark Channel

ET: We just watched When Calls the Heart: Home for Christmas. What emotions do you hope the movie evokes out of hearties? What do you want them to take away?

Alfonso H. Moreno: Throughout the process of writing and producing this movie, I kept in mind that people would be watching it on Christmas evening. They would have already opened their presents and had their special meal. So, I wanted to cap off the night for them with a story that was both emotional and grounded in what happens over the holidays, which is our desire to connect or reconnect to the people we care about.

Let’s talk some specifics… After receiving a job promotion, we saw Nathan really struggle with his decision to leave Hope Valley — and he ultimately turned it down. How much of that decision was because of Allie, and how much of that was because of his feelings for Elizabeth?

While it is hard to quantify, Nathan’s decision to stay was based both on Allie and Elizabeth. With Allie, Nathan can see that Hope Valley has become her home and is extremely important to her. With respect to Elizabeth, at this point, Nathan has hope that their relationship can evolve into something more; but it is not certain.

Hallmark Channel

Lucas pulled off quite a grand gesture, lighting up the sky for the kind people of Hope Valley, including (wink wink) a certain Elizabeth Thornton! What kind of impression did this leave on Elizabeth? Will grand gestures like this help Lucas win Elizabeth’s heart in the end?

Grand gestures are important when they come from the heart – and this one from Lucas definitely did, which Elizabeth appreciates. Of course, “the end” hasn’t been written, but I will say that whenever someone shows another person that, they will move heaven and earth to make them happy, it leaves a good impression.

Hallmark Channel

Nathan, on the other hand, hasn’t been as proactive with pursuing Elizabeth — in fact, it was Allie who was the one who broke the news to Elizabeth that Nathan turned down the new job offer. How does Elizabeth feel about this push-pull dynamic between them? Will we see him step up his game in season 7?
I think Elizabeth realizes that people are different. Nathan has been less proactive; but he has other very strong qualities. Having said that, he definitely does step up his game in season 7.

Baby Jack uttered his first word, which was so exciting! What other “firsts” or milestones will we see in season 7?

There will be plenty of firsts in season 7, including in the very first episode. I hope people will tune in for them!

Hallmark Channel

Rosemary made several references to the fact that she wishes to become a mother. How much of that narrative will we see play out in season 7? How important is it to her to become a mother? Will she and Lee explore all avenues of becoming parents (adoption, fostering, etc.)?

Rosemary has a deep desire to become a mother. Season 6 touched on this issue for her that is both emotional and universal. In season 7 and moving forward, it continues to be a part of who Rosemary is.

Hallmark Channel

After watching that kiss, and seeing the lengths they went to spend the holiday together, Carson and Faith seem more in love than ever! Is it safe to assume that? Where is their relationship heading?

Carson and Faith’s relationship is at that “new” fun and exciting stage. It is headed for some bumps in the road. Stay tuned. It will be fun to watch.

We met a new character, Walter. Will he have a continued presence in Hope Valley? If so, how will he fit into the group?

Walter doesn’t reappear in Season 7, though I would love to bring him back in future seasons. He was a charming and interesting character to write.

It’s always a treat for hearties to see characters like Florence, Molly and Hickam. What’s in store for them in the upcoming season?

They will all face their own challenges during the course of the season: Molly is offered a new job opportunity; Florence and Hickam face unexpected challenges in their work.

This was the first WCTH Christmas movie without Abigail. Can you please offer a message to fans who miss her?

I think the town of Hope Valley, like the fans of the show, miss Abigail. For both, it is about embracing the past, but learning to move forward.

What can you tell us about season 7? Can you please tease specific storylines that you’re excited for fans to see? Will Elizabeth make a decision between Nathan and Lucas?

I won’t spoil the Elizabeth/Lucas/Nathan triangle, but I will say that this storyline is a central focus of the season. Lucas and Nathan let Elizabeth know, in no uncertain terms, how they feel about her. Also, Nathan is confronted with his past when his father shows up in town. Clara and Jesse plan their wedding. Elizabeth pursues a unique career opportunity. Lee reveals a big secret about his past to Rosemary. Bill has to put a jury together in a legal case against Gowen. Lucas and Gowen deal with Gowen Petroleum, which is at risk of going under. Carson and Faith face some challenges in their relationship. Finally, our characters have to deal with more than just emotional slings and arrows, as some of them end up in harm’s way, either by the natural elements or, in one instance, at the hand of another.

‘When Calls the Heart’ Cast Seemingly Responds to Hallmark Channel’s Commercial Controversy

‘When Calls the Heart’: Meet the Twins Who Play Baby Jack During Their First Interview! (Exclusive)

‘When Calls the Heart’s’ Erin Krakow shares a photo that proves the eyes have it

Erin Krakow of “When Calls the Heart” has the power to lure and captivate the camera in ways that few actresses ever master. The lovely brunette conveys much more than her physical beauty in countless scenes over the past six seasons of the Hallmark Channel’s beloved series. Erin Krakow’s spirit and natural sense of humor seem to always add something intangible to her roles. The leading lady and all her castmates and the crew of “When Calls the Heart” have been hard at work for weeks now on Season 7, through rain or shine.

Krakow loves to share glimpses of her days with her fans and followers on social media, and her September 19 post has a lot to say with very few words. She and co-star, Chris McNally, who makes no secret of his affection or good intentions for her character of Elizabeth Thornton as the still somewhat mysterious but well-meaning new saloon owner, Lucas Bouchard, are captured in a look.

Erin Krakow implores that no one should “stress” over imagining captions, but the image certainly gives faithful “Hearties” much to wonder about before the new season begins.

A look really can matter

Erin Krakow gives a side gaze to the camera in the photo, just as Chris McNally gives much more than a side glance to her. Heaven only knows the millions of catchphrases that fans are creating in their heads for the capture. The chemistry has been building between their characters throughout Season 6, however.

Let’s not stress over the caption.

Elizabeth Thornton was simultaneously suspicious, awed, and moved when Lucas Bouchard donated his building for Hope Valley’s library, which was Elizabeth’s dream for her students and the community.

He attested that it was being “fascinated by goodness” that swayed the newcomer in town beyond anything outward about her. After a dangerous encounter with some pursuers from Lucas’ past, Elizabeth and Lucas resumed a calmer footing in their relationship. Still, a look made all the difference at the close of Season 6.

Elizabeth offered her dance to Lucas, at the Founder’s Day festivities for “Ladies’ Choice,” and he was delighted to accept her invitation.

The two are embracing, both the moment and each other, when Elizabeth notices Mountie Nathan Grant, portrayed by Kevin McGarry, leaving. Never has a look been more penetrating than the one given by Erin Krakow as she tracked the newly-serving protector out the door. The moment is the kind of stuff that makes television history, and the “When Calls the Heart” faithful only have a few more months to find out if Elizabeth follows her eyes, and what happens next.

Ready for holiday cheer

“Let’s not stress about the caption,” Krakow urges with her photo. Chris McNally is the one who seems to be stressed in the photo, with a “What have we done here?” or a “What did you just say?” question with his eyes.

The mystery will be something extra to keep “When Calls the Heart” fans wondering. In the meantime, Erin Krakow is gearing up for holiday fun.

The star will make a Sunday-only appearance at Christmas-Con in Edison, New Jersey on November 10 at the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center. Paul Greene, who portrays Dr. Carson Shepherd on “When Calls the Heart,” will also be in attendance, along with many Hallmark Channel favorites, per The Cheat Sheet on September 17. There will be photo opportunities and a few minutes to mingle with fans. Erin Krakow proudly declares herself to be “the biggest Heartie,” and stays connected with viewers in several ways.

Erin and her co-star, Pascale Hutton, were braving Vancouver showers in a photo shared last week, but snow, Santa, and eggnog are never far off for the Hallmark Channel. Thursday is already marked for Christmas movies on the network, and the full run of seasonal holiday movies gets underway on October 25. Erin Krakow will score another favorite for 2019 with “Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen,” which premieres on November 27. Christmas Day will welcome another “When Calls the Heart” Christmas been movie feature.

In photos and on-screen, Erin Krakow is a warm and beautiful vision, who will bring fans many welcome ways to see her over the next several months.
