Ryan and kelly today

Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa are used to going on food tours around New York for various Live with Kelly and Ryan segments. But this fall, they’re taking their travels to the next level. Their destination? Sin City.

The co-hosts announced on Wednesday’s episode that they will be shooting their morning program at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas for four shows, which will air November 18-21.

Even though the set will look a bit different, the show will still feature plenty of celebrity interviews and fun musical performances, according to BroadwayWorld.com. But while in Vegas, Kelly and Ryan will also be hopping around the Strip and showing what Vegas has to offer, including its amazing food scene and buzzing nightlife (if we had to guess, a few casino visits will be on the agenda, as well).

Now, for the not-so-amazing news: At the moment, it looks like the tickets for all four shows have already sold out. With that being said, you can always add your name to the waitlist (go here for more info) to give yourself a shot at scoring seats.

Alas, if that doesn’t work out, you can always try to catch a taping of Live in New York City.

This summer, Seacrest plans to launch Polished by Dr. Lancer, a new men’s skincare business formed in partnership with famed Hollywood dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer. He also has long-standing endorsement relationships with blue-chip brands including Coca-Cola and Ford.

His philanthropic efforts include serving as chairman of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF). Over the last eight years, RSF has opened ten broadcast media centers – Seacrest Studios – in pediatric hospitals in cities across the country. Dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education-focused initiatives, Seacrest Studios allow child patients to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media.

At the recent Daytime Emmy Awards, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest won an award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts. The pair, who together are the hosts of Live with Kelly and Ryan, are known for delivering informative segments to their viewers as well as having great chemistry that make their show fun to watch.

While Ripa and Seacrest seem to get along like best friends on TV, are they actually close in real life? Read on below to find out.

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest began hosting ‘Live’ together in 2017

Kelly Ripa has been hosting various formats of Live since 2001. For the longest time, she co-hosted with Regis Philbin until Philbin left in 2011. Aside from hosting by herself, Ripa had also been joined by Michael Strahan from 2012 to 2016.

In 2017, it was announced that a new era of Live would begin and, this time, Kelly Ripa’s co-host would be Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest had joined Ripa on the show before as a guest host during those periods of time where she was the sole anchor of Live. They worked so well together that Kelly Ripa requested Ryan Seacrest to be her full-time partner.

“Ryan is a close friend and his star shines as brightly off camera as it does on,” Ripa said in a released statement. “His tremendous success is only matched by his impeccable reputation. Plainly said, everyone loves him, and so will our daily viewers.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Seacrest shared that he thought of Kelly Ripa as a “dream broadcast partner.”

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest hang out often off the screen

Fans of the hosting duo will be glad to know that Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are not faking their chemistry on TV. The hosts actually do get along extremely well even when they are not working.

Kelly Ripa has shared that when she was hosting with Regis Philbin, the two of them rarely ever talked when the camera was not filming. “He had almost a superstition about it,” she said. “You save it for the show. I’d be like, ‘Good morning,’ and he’d say, ‘Save it for the air!’”

However, Kelly Ripa has ditched this rule with Ryan Seacrest and the hosting pair often chit-chats before the camera starts recording.

According to sources close to them, Ripa and Seacrest’s friendship makes them a great hosting team. “They talk to each other about their lives,” an insider shared. “They even co-hosted a Halloween party this fall.”

“You put them together, and it’s one plus one makes 10,” an executive producer for Live said.

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest support each other’s relationships

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are so close, in fact, that they even get along with each other’s significant others.

Back when Ryan Seacrest was still dating model Shayna Taylor, Kelly Ripa made it well-known that she absolutely adored her co-host’s girlfriend. Taylor actually appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan a few times and the three of them always had great chemistry together. In fact, some sources even said that Kelly Ripa was often urging Ryan Seacrest to pop the question to his girlfriend already.

Meanwhile, Kelly Ripa has been married to fellow actor Mark Consuelos for more than 20 years, and she has shared a few times on the show that her husband and co-host are total buddies.

Back in 2017, after Ripa and Seacrest were discussing their double date together with Mark Consuelos and Shayna Taylor, Ripa told Seacrest of her husband. “He loves you too, so much. It gives him such a sense of satisfaction to just chill with another dude.”

Kelly Ripa is a well-known talk show host, an actress of American origin, an executive producer, and a dancer. She rose to prominence in 2001 when she hosted the morning talk show Live! With Kelly and Ryan and the ABC soap opera “All My Children” where she played Hayley Vaughn.

Today she still hosts the Live with Kelly and Ryan show and manages other ventures. We shall look at Kelly Ripa’s net worth fortune in 2020 in a more detailed manner and also uncover a few things you probably don’t know about Kelly Ripa.

Kelly Ripa has finally had a bachelorette party after more than two decades of marriage.

The star eloped with Mark Consuelos in 1996 and therefore never had the chance to have a bachelorette party — until the cast of “Live with Kelly and Ryan” banded together to provide Ripa with an unforgettable experience.

With Monday’s episode of “Live” emanating from the Paris Theater at Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the ladies of “Live” took Ripa out for a big celebration in Sin City.

Abiding by the five “official rules” of a Las Vegas bachelorette party, the ladies of “Live” sought to check out the city with cocktails, do something erotic, do something tasty, dance and get surprised by a stripper.

Ripa was seen walking down a hallway before being surprised by the female crew members, who were all rocking “Bride Tribe” T-shirts in celebration.

“We’re taking you out! We’re giving you the bachelorette party you never had,” one crew member noted as another crew member adorned Ripa with a hot pink “Bride” sash.

The ladies of “Live” also visited the High Roller — “The largest wheel in the world,” Ripa noted — to enjoy their drinks and soak in the sights of Las Vegas.

“Listen, I dig it. I like what you did here. We’re up here, we’re in the big eye in the sky, we’re looking over all of Vegas we have the really hot bartender who’s really a stripper,” Ripa enthusiastically noted.

The scene quickly cut to the bartender who mouthed, “I’m not a stripper.”

The crew then hit Absinthe, an erotic variety show that features shirtless male performers in seductive acts while performing remarkable feats of athleticism — fulfilling the erotic aspect of the night.

The ladies of “Live” then visited Caesars Palace, where they dined on exquisite desserts. Upon receiving a special cake, Ripa humorously haggled the pastry chef, believing he was the surprise male stripper of the evening — all to no avail.

The women then visited Marquee Night Club at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas where Ripa further searched for her surprise stripper — haggling the DJ with no positive result yet again.

As the night came to a close, Ripa expressed disappointment for not receiving her male stripper, to which a man dressed as a police officer appeared out of nowhere much to Ripa’s pleasure.

Ripa joked to fellow host Ryan Seacrest that, “No actual strippers were hurt in the making of that piece.”

Early Life

Born on October 2, 1970, in Stratford, New Jersey, Kelly Ripa is the daughter of a bus driver and labor union president. She began studying ballet at the age of three and appeared as a dancer on Dance Party USA when she was 19.

Playing Hayley Santos on ‘All My Children’

Ripa attended Camden Community College in New Jersey, where she performed in local theater productions, before landing the role of Hayley Santos on the ABC daytime drama All My Children in 1990. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the role in both 1993 and 1999.

‘Live!’ with Regis, Michael and Ryan

In February 2001 Ripa joined co-host Regis Philbin for ABC’s morning talk show Live! with Regis and Kelly, replacing longtime co-host Kathie Lee Gifford. Ripa’s endearing personality and upbeat sense of humor proved to be the ideal foil for Philbin’s curmudgeonly style of entertainment. She continued to appear periodically on All My Children alongside husband and co-star Mark Consuelos until she left the show in 2002. In 2010 she returned for two episodes in celebration of the soap opera’s 40th anniversary.

In January 2011 Philbin announced his retirement from Live! at the age of 80. Ripa took over hosting duties and the show’s name was changed to Live! with Kelly. Similar to the vetting process that she underwent to team up with Philbin, Ripa had various guests co-host the show with her. Live! won its first Emmy in June 2012 and that September, former football star Michael Strahan was chosen to pair with Ripa. The show’s name was changed to Live with Kelly and Michael.

Tension filled the set between the two co-hosts in April 2016, when Strahan announced he was leaving Live for Good Morning America. Ripa was reportedly not informed of Strahan’s exit until the day of the official announcement, and she did not show up on set the next day.

Ripa returned the following week and stood in front of the audience to discuss “respect in the workplace.” Despite the speech, the tension between Ripa and Strahan was uncomfortably conspicuous; after consulting with producers from both Live and GMA, Strahan parted ways with Ripa in May 2016, four months earlier than planned.

The show returned to being called Live! with Kelly until a replacement for Strahan was announced. In April 2017, a year after Strahan departed the show, Ripa introduced Ryan Seacrest as her new co-host, with the show to be renamed Live with Kelly and Ryan. Seacrest, who has hosted American Idol, the radio show American Top 40 and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, made his first appearance on Live back in 2003.

‘Hope & Faith’ and Spokesperson

Considered one of the hardest working people in show business, Ripa has juggled many hats while being a daytime show host. From 2003 to 2006 she starred in the sitcom Hope & Faith, and she has also been the spokesperson for brands like Tide, Pantene, TD Bank, Electrolux and Rykä.

Joining forces with her husband Mark Consuelos, Ripa launched the production company Milojo in 2007.

Marriage and Children

Ripa and Consuelos, who eloped in 1996, live in New York City. They have three children: Michael Joseph, Lola Grace and Joaquin.

Ryan Seacrest took a nasty fall during Tuesday’s “Live with Kelly and Ryan” broadcast.

Just days after interviewing the biggest names in TV and film at the 77th Golden Globe Awards, Seacrest’s dignity took a bit of a hit while he was trying to catch a golden balloon that was raining down on him and co-host Kelly Ripa.

As the 45-year-old star reached his arms up and behind him in an effort to catch the large falling balloon, he eventually overextended and sent his chair backward and him hurtling to the ground behind it. The audience roared with concern as Ripa shouted, “Oh my God!”

Ripa lept out of her own seat to see if Seacrest was OK, but by the time she made it to where he was on the floor, he could already be heard giggling at himself.

“Oh my gosh, he’s fine!” she said after a stagehand helped get Seacrest back on his feet.

He didn’t appear to be in pain or injured in any way from the fall once he stood up. In a jocular effort to save face, the host quickly grabbed the balloon he was reaching for off the floor and proudly held it over his head.

“I got it!” he exclaimed.

Fortunately for fans, the “American Idol” host wasn’t above laughing at himself and gladly posted the moment to his Instagram.

“First fumble of the new season. Hope I make the playoffs…” he captioned the video.

In addition, he shared a slow-motion clip of the fall on his Instagram Story.

Kelly and Ryan’s relationship may not be as sunny as it seems

Kelly Ripa came to the defense of her embattled “Live!” co-host Ryan Seacrest on Thursday by declaring on the air: “I just want you to know, you are a privilege to work with, and I adore you.”

She added that she is looking forward to seeing Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet, and, “Speaking on behalf of all of us here, I know what an easy, professional, great person you are, and I feel very, very lucky to work with you each and every day.”

Seacrest has denied claims that he sexually harassed his former stylist Suzie Hardy while she was employed by the E! network.

Ripa’s endorsement came just a day after she appeared to take a dig at Seacrest on the show, with regards to the sexual-misconduct allegations plaguing him.

And insiders tell us that the duo’s relationship is not as sunny as it seemed on the show Thursday.

Said a source: “Kelly doesn’t want to risk anything happening to ‘Live’ . . . She is understandably livid because it could potentially f - - k up her show.”

Another added, “They oversell their friendship . . . Her reputation is rolled up in this — this is her show. For Kelly, there’s not a Plan B. She has to make a decision and rally around him.”

Reps did not comment, but another source insisted, “He’s one of her closest friends, and they’re very protective of each other. They’ve known each other for years and talk about everything . . . it’s been a tough week.”

E! is sticking with Seacrest as a red-carpet Oscars host, though sources told Page Six some stars may steer clear of him, while the network will line up only friendly interviews.
