Nicky and alex now

While Fuller House fans continue to hope for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to reprise their iconic role as Michelle Tanner in the fifth and final season of the Netflix series, there is another set of twins who didn’t think twice about returning to the spotlight, even if only for a moment.

Best known as Nicky and Alex Katsopolis on Full House, actors Dylan and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit played the sons of Uncle Jesse (John Stamous) and Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin).

Dylan and Blake made their debut in season 6 of Full House when they were 2- years-old. Initially, a different set of twin baby boys were shown when Becky gave birth on Michelle’s fifth birthday.

Fast forward to 2016 when Fuller House first premiered and fans didn’t recognize the brothers, who were 25-years-old at the time. Their characters were re-introduced as California boys who left college to venture into the food truck business, with a specialty in fish tacos. Although we saw Dylan and Blake for a brief moment on the show, the two are actually no longer actors.

What are Dylan and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit up to now?

For the past five years, Dylan has spent his time being on the other side of the camera as a foley artist a.k.a. the person who creates sounds effects. Most notably, the now 29-year-old has won three Emmy Awards for his post-production work for Game of Thrones. His other credits include Death Note, Jack Ryan, and Castle Rock.

And on the sidelines, Blake has cheered his brother on, even attending award shows with him. Unlike his twin, Blake explored various careers, including being a firefighter for four years in Georgia. Although he loved the job and found it rewarding, it kept him away from his family and friends, so he moved home to California.

After moving back to the West coast, he decided to go a different route and “joined the family business” of audio engineering. Blake hopes to follow in his brother’s footsteps with foley mixing, but in the meantime, live-streaming video games on Twitch is one of his biggest passions.

Although it’s no guaranteed we’ll see the two back on Fuller House, we’re sure hoping they’ll make one last memorable appearance.

What Did Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit Do After ‘Full House’? The Twins Are All Grown Up Now

The youngest members of the Full House family are making a comeback. The twins who played Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky’s kids on the show return to play Nicky and Alex in the Netflix revival, Fuller House. What did Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit do after Full House Surprisingly, neither one kept acting.

Though Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen shared the role of Michelle Tanner, Blake and Dylan got to appear together on the show after Aunt Becky gave birth to twins. Fans loved seeing the two little guys grow up and reach milestones on the show, from their first haircuts to their first day of preschool. Though the whole Tanner family rocked, there was something particularly special about audiences meeting Uncle Jesse as a bachelor and watching him fall for Rebecca Donaldson, get married, and start a family of his own. Nicky and Alex were sweet, spirited, and certainly silly kids. The Fuller House trailer suggests that they’re still as silly as ever.

Blake (Nicky) grew up to be a firefighter, according to E!. He hasn’t been in the public eye since Full House, but he does connect with fans on Instagram and Twitter. When he started filming the revival, he posted a photo of the Fuller House script with the caption, “Its Nicky time.”

Dylan (Alex’s) IMDB profile reveals that he’s a foley artist (those people that create all the sounds for movies, in case you’re not a film buff). He worked on the video game Sunset Overdrive, short film Bluffing, and TV movie Point of Honor before advancing to bigger projects.

Dylan also worked as a foley artist on the movies Furious 7 and Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, and TV series Game of Thrones and Black Sails. He even earned an Emmy nomination for Game of Thrones, E! reported. Dylan also Instagrammed a photo of his Fuller House script when they started filming, simply captioned, “What?” with an emoji.

It seems as though the Fuller House cast was delighted to reconnect with the twins. Uncle Jesse himself, John Stamos, tweeted photos of the boys and wrote, “Boy, your sons grow up fast when you don’t see them for 20yrs.”

It won’t be long before you get to reconnect with Nicky and Alex, too: Fuller House premieres on Netflix on February 26. If that’s too long to wait, John Stamos is posting throwback videos to Instagram every day leading up to the show’s debut, according to ABC News. Of course, it’s also fun to browse his Fuller House-era photos as well, because what an adorable family they make, right?

That looks like a seriously wonderful reunion! I know what I’ll be watching this weekend.

Filming for Fuller House’s second season is well underway, and twins Nicky and Alex Katsopolis (Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit) are apparently reprising their roles again. (Netflix clearly must have taken note of my previous article about things Season 2 needs.) The brothers were on the pilot of the Full House spin-off, but that was simply not enough screen time IMO. They grew up from adorable kids with bowlcuts to zany college bros who drove their parents crazy.

Their TV mom, Lori Loughlin, shared a pic of the trio Tuesday (July 19) and it’s some serious cuteness overload. “Not so little anymore,” she captioned on Instagram.

It’s unclear exactly how many and which episodes the Tuomy-Wilhoits are filming, but a couple of fans claim they’ll be part of the highly anticipated Thanksgiving episode. To be honest, having Nicky and Alex on for the Thanksgiving episode makes tons of sense, but people are also speculating about whether the Olsen twins will be there as well, though nothing has been hinted at or confirmed.

A couple of weeks ago, Dylan shared some Instas from the set — and teased fans on Twitter about his return — including a video of him crashing his TV dad, John Stamos’s, Spanish lesson from Juan Pablo Di Pace, who plays Kimmy Gibbler’s lover, Fernando.

Fuller House: See What Nicky And Alex Look Like Now

Thank goodness for John Stamos. The actor was the person who first got us jazzed about a Full House spinoff, and now that Fuller House is actually happening, he’s been busy sharing pictures from the set. This week, we got our first good look at Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, who originally played Nicky and Alex on the series and will be returning for the reboot. Just like the rest of the gang, they’re all grown up! Check out how they look now below…

It’s hard to believe the boys are in their mid-twenties at this point. (They were born back in 1990). It’s also interesting to note that they don’t look as alike as they used to, although maybe a lot of that actually had to do with the ridiculous full haircuts they sported back in the early nineties. Getting a good look at them on the set is actually pretty nice; unlike a lot of the other actors from Full House, the Tuomy-Wilhoits didn’t pursue careers in showbiz following their tenures on the former ABC sitcom and we haven’t seen or heard from them in a while.
The news comes just a few days after the twin boys were confirmed to return to Fuller House to play Nicky and Alex on Netflix. In fact, a good chunk of the original cast of the nineties sitcom will be back for this new amalgamation. Other characters we can expect to see include D.J., Stephanie, Kimmy, Jesse, Becky, Joey, Danny Tanner and even Steve making a comeback.
A couple of weeks ago, the new Netflix series was actually going to be twin-less, as the Tuomy-Wilhoit twins were not signed on and the Olsen twins had said they were not committing to roles on the new show. Regardless, things change fast in the entertainment world, and now Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit are officially in for Fuller House. Plus, Netflix President Ted Sarandos recently shared the tidbit that the Olsen twins might actually be around, after all, so we could be hearing even more good news in the coming weeks. Here’s the exact quote:
The Olsen twins are teetering whether or not they’ll be around.
Thanks to a fashion empire and a wide range of interests, the Olsen Twins certainly don’t need the money that Fuller House would pay, but given they got their start on the show back in the day, having them around would feel right. Hopefully, everyone involved will figure out a way to make that happen, even if it’s just for an episode here or there.
Fuller House isn’t expected to premiere on Netflix until 2016, but in the meantime here’s a list of the numerous shows that are rebooting or reworking another property.

News that the twins would be part of Fuller House broke last week when both Blake and Dylan posted Instagram photos from the show’s set. But fans are still waiting for that other set of twins — Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — to make an appearance.

“The Olsen twins are teetering whether or not they’ll be around,” Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos told reporters last week at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour in Beverly Hills. “There’s a bunch of opportunity for them if they choose to. But they’re not in the current creative.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen might be the most successful twins to come out of Full House (their net worth is reported at $300 million), but there’s that other set of twins that were just as cute.

Remember Nicky and Alex? They were Rebecca and Jesse’s twin boys, played by Dylan and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit. With the news that Full House is getting a reboot, it left us wondering what ever happened to the adorable toddler twins.

Well, thanks to the ~Internet~, we know that they are now 23 years old, and lead normal, non-actor lives.

Here they are in 1993 during their Full House days:

And here they are now:

Dylan is on the left and Blake is on the right.

Blake is actually a firefighter who lives in Atlanta.

And Dylan is working as a sound technician for shows like Game of Thrones.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like the twins will be starring in the upcoming Netflix reboot.

To everyone: As far as I know, the new show is not a “Fullhouse Reunion “, it will revolve around a few characters from the show though.
