Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continued their official royal tour of the UK today by paying a visit to Northern Ireland.
The couple will be spending the day in Belfast, meeting members of the public, touring local businesses and seeing some of the city’s most famous sites. Their first stop was the Eikon Centre in Lisburn, where they attended an event to mark the second year of youth-led peace-building initiative Amazing the Space.
For the trip, Markle wore a dark green Greta Constantine skirt (perhaps as a subtle nod to the Emerald Isle), paired with a cashmere Victoria Beckham jumper, burnt-orange suede Manolo Blahnik BB heels and a bag by emerging young designer Charlotte Elizabeth. She covered up in a sand-coloured coat by Toronto-based brand Mackage.

The couple then stopped off at one of Belfast’s most historic buildings, The Crown Liquor Saloon, for a pub lunch (and perhaps even a pint of Guinness).
Their day trip will also feature a tour of the Belfast campus of Northern Ireland’s next generation science park, Catalyst Inc, to meet young entrepreneurs.
Harry and Markle will conclude their official visit with a tour of the iconic Titanic Belfast.
The Sussexes are in Sussex! (Say that five times fast.) Today, Prince Harry Meghan Markle are visiting their namesake region in Southeast London for the very first time.
Meghan looks quite sophisticated for the day of engagements wearing a cream-colored coat by Georgia Armani, a green leather pencil skirt by Hugo Boss, and a blouse by & Other Stories. She paired the ensemble with suede nude pumps and a chic top-handled Gabriela Hearst bag that matched her top. The Duchess also wore a ring and bracelet by London-based jewelry brand, Missoma.
Meghan also wore her hair up for the occasion in a bun, in a style which resembles her wedding ‘do.

While on their visit today, Harry and Meghan will greet the public on multiple walkabouts, and will spend time in both West Sussex and East Sussex.
Their itinerary includes a visit to the University of Chichester and stops at both a youth center and a rape crisis service. Meghan and Harry will also view the recently discovered Sussex copy of the Declaration of Independence, one of only two in existence.
Before their wedding, the Queen gave Prince Harry and his bride-to-be Meghan Markle the royal titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Meghan is the first woman to hold the title of Duchess of Sussex, but there has previously been one other Duke, Prince Augustus Frederick in the 18th century, who was a noted abolitionist.

The Duchess of Sussex looked incredible on Wednesday morning as her and Prince Harry met with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Mrs.Tutu at their Legacy Foundation. Meghan, 38, stepped out in a sheer Club Monaco patterened dresss – which is available online now on the brand’s US site – navy blue high heels and wore her trademark raven mane in a slicked-back bun style. So chic! And look at Archie in his dungarees! The meeting proved a particularly special one, as Harry last met the Archbishop back in 2015, when he presented him with an honour in recognition of his services to UK communities and international peace and reconciliation.
What a family photo!
During this royal tour, we have noticed that the Duchess has been re-wearing a lot of her past outfits, and we love her for it.

After all, it promotes sustainable fashion by not wearing a fresh new look every time you go out.
On Tuesday afternoon, the mother-of-one opted for her favourite flowy sleeveless maxi dress by Martin Grant – the same dress we saw her wear during the last royal tour.

While last time, she teamed her maxi with sand-appropriate espadrilles and Karen Walker earrings, this year she kept the footwear the same but opted for different jewels.

At the event, Meghan and Prince Harry met a cross-section of inspiring opinion-formers and young future leaders that underline the diverse nature of the UK’s modern partnership with South Africa.

And on Monday, the Duchess was all smiles in Cape Town, changing from her black and white Mayamiko Dalitso dress she rocked early in the day, into a striking blue Veronica Beard frock she first wore in Tonga back in 2018. The brightly coloured ‘Cary’ dress was both fitted yet effortlessly casual, and features pockets, as well as stylish slits on each side. Perfect for the hot climate she’s experiencing right now. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has been making headlines for the flawless style choices she’s made on her 16-day royal tour. That black-and-white gown! Those blazers! But her latest outfit has some wondering: Did the former Meghan Markle just experience a wardrobe malfunction?
For her final engagement of the royal tour, the duchess selected a beautiful, semi-sheer Givenchy skirt that she paired with a matching top and pumps. Gorgeous, as usual!
The colorful panels created an interesting effect as the duchess walked, but may have caused an optical illusion in certain photographs.Reuters
The only problem? The bold blue skirt appears to be see-through in some of the photos, making it look like the 37-year-old is flashing her legs and revealing her underwear.

Before we get ahead of ourselves though, this “see-through skirt” is likely just an optical illusion. Royals have to follow some pretty strict clothing rules, so we highly doubt the mom-to-be would deliberately choose a transparent skirt.
And we all know how clothing can appear differently on camera and in real life from time to time. Remember #TheDress debate?
The optical illusion may just be due to the skirt’s heavy woven fabric “strobing on camera,” which made the it appear sheer.
“I believe the inner panels of the skirt were constructed with a stripe of a thin material that probably did not seem sheer when hanging in normal lighting. By looking at the photos, the direct sunlight obviously had a huge impact on the fabric transparency,” said Adrienne M. Kronovet, founder and CEO of the workwear line Ameliora. “I would say it only appears to be see-through in certain lighting and is actually covered underneath.”
Makes sense, right?
This isn’t the first time a royal has appeared to suffer a wardrobe malfunction. In 1980, Princess Diana was photographed in a sheer lace skirt that revealed her legs underneath on a sunny day.

Just last week, the Duchess of Sussex also made a slight fashion faux pas when she forgot to take the tag off her brand new red dress in Tonga.
Whether her skirt was sheer or not, we can’t help but love the duchess even more for being so relatable!
- Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently in Rome to attend the duchess’s close friend Misha Nonoo’s wedding.
- The Duchess of Sussex wore a sheer black Valentino dress and sparkling gold feather earrings for the occasion.
- Nonoo recently collaborated with the duchess on a capsule collection of work attire to benefit women entering the workplace.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted arriving to the wedding of Misha Nonoo at Villa Aurelia in Rome today. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped in Italy to attend the fashion designer’s ceremony ahead of their royal trip to Africa next week.
For the occasion, Meghan stunned in a sheer black dress complete with sparkling embellishments and puff sleeves. As identified by @carolinepparr, Meghan’s intricate gown is Valentino’s embellished tulle evening dress, which is available to shop for $13,500.
She accessorized the look with a pair of gold and diamond feather earrings. Prince Harry looked dapper in a black tuxedo beside her. Unfortunately, a clear photo of the couple’s full looks has yet to emerge.

Meghan and Harry’s four-month-old son, Archie, was not in attendance for the wedding. The first-time parents are reportedly “enjoying a bit of down-time” before their royal tour of Southern Africa begins on Monday, per royal correspondent Emily Andrews. Archie will, however, be joining his parents on the royal trip.
Nonoo is a close friend of Meghan’s and most recently collaborated with the duchess on a capsule collection of workwear for women. The five-piece collection, for which Nonoo designed a classic white button-down shirt, benefits Smart Works, a non-profit organization supporting women entering or re-entering the workplace. In January, Meghan became a royal patron to the charity.
