Victoria Caputo is an American Television star who has grown in front of the cameras all her life. She achieved everything in her life in the public eye, from a career in the beauty industry to starting a relationship with her boyfriend. Still, Victoria keeps some of the burning issues from the public amidst all the discrimination. She is the gorgeous daughter of a Long Island Medium star, who is well known and has felt her fair share of love and hatred from her fans. Victoria loves several things, from beauty to being the beast; she is a beauty professional as well as a very fierce boxer. Victoria claims boxing helps her to relieve stress and workout the body. We delved deeper into her life, and here’s everything you need to know about Victoria.

1. She is a reality TV star

She stars in the reality show “Long Island Medium” alongside her family. The series airs on TLC since it premiered on 25th September 2011. It revolves around her mother, who announced herself as a medium able to speak to the dead. Victoria and her brother have appeared on the show several times, but their mother admits that their appearances have significantly reduced in recent times. She blames this on her divorce, claiming it harmed her children.

2. Her family background

According to Marathi, Victoria is the younger of two kids; her older brother is called Larry Junior. She was born on 27th September 1994 in Long Island, New York, where she also grew up. She lived in Connecticut briefly for three years in college before settling back on Long Island. She is the daughter of Teresa Caputo and Larry Caputo. Her parents divorced in 2017 after being married for 28 years. Her mother is a famous self-professed American medium who is well known for her reality television series “Long Island Medium,” which she launched in 2011.

3. Her personal life

Victoria is not yet married, although she has been engaged to her boyfriend, Michael Mastrandrea, since 2017. Her mother confirmed their relationship on Instagram when she shared photos of Victoria’s engagement ring and cake while congratulating her and wishing her happiness. Lately, Victoria has been busy with her personal life, and she has not been showing up much on the family show.

4. She is a victim of cyberbullying

According to Your Tango, Victoria was a victim of online bullying because of her weight. Her mother, Teresa, announced this unfortunate fact late last year and even addressed cyberbullying as a crime in an episode of “Long Island Medium.” She also went on her Instagram and Twitter accounts to condemn the act. She said that it broke her heart to hear people comment so horribly about her daughter’s weight. Victoria later took to social media to respond to her bullies, saying that the gain in weight does not change her as a person. Victoria, however, added that she was also not impressed with her weight. She blamed her critics for the negativity and advised them to mind their businesses.

5. She is a college drop out

After her High School, Victoria joined South Connecticut University. She studied there for three years, after which she decided to pursue her long-life dream of becoming a hairstylist and makeup artist. Victoria quit University and joined the Cactus Academy of Paul Mitchell. She later graduated from the academy in late 2015 with a qualification in cosmetology.

6. She loves gymnastics

Victoria’s passion for gymnastics dates back to a very early age. She started taking gymnastics lessons at the age of four until college. During her college days, she competed in several competitions as a gymnast and won several accolades. She said in an interview that she liked her college because of the sport. She added that the coaches and the team caught her eye with their dedication and love for it.

7. Her Zodiac

Victoria’s zodiac sign is Libra. Venus is Libra’s ruling planet making those born under this sign to be fair, peaceful, and social. Victoria is a non-disputable lover of peace who dislikes being alone. She was born in the eleventh month of the twelve-month cycle. The eleventh month is the month of the dog according to the dates of the Chinese calendar. People born under this sign are known to be sincere, loyal, decisive, and independent. They are known to be brave and can tackle the hardships of life that come their way. They are, however, known to worry too much about the ups and downs of life sometimes, as can be seen from Victoria’s experiences.

8. She is a hairstylist

After she graduated from beauty school, Victoria joined MAC cosmetics in Long Island, where she began doing freelance makeup artistry. She now works full time in the makeup and beauty industry. Her love for her job has made her add beauty to her resume, and she has branded herself as the ‘Long Island Balayage.’ She currently owns her cosmetic line called ‘Hair by Victoria Caputo.’

9. Her social media life

Victoria commands a good number of followers on her social media platforms. According to Famous Star Birthdays, she has over 150,000 followers on Instagram and more than 100,000 followers on Twitter. For a long time, Victoria has been a part-time Instagram influencer. In 2018, she posted many promotions for a watch brand named Daniel Wellington. Caputo shared a photo of herself and her boyfriend in February, both of them wearing their watches. In the post, she offered a 15% discount for any of her fans who used promo code ‘VICCAPUTO’ for their next purchases.

10. She likes tattoos

Immediately after turning 18 in November 2012, Victoria took to Twitter to say that tattoos are addictive and that she wanted another one. She then added a symbol of three little bird silhouettes to her collection on her left foot. Victoria then added three dots and an eye on her right hand in January 2017. In October 2017, she visited the Empire State Studio and did a skull with eye sockets that are heart-shaped. The studio belongs to Tommy Helm, the star in Ink Master and Tattoo Nightmares. She did her most recent tattoo in January 2018, where she has inked an image of a small bee.

Who Is Michael Mastrandrea? New Details About The ‘Long Island Medium’ Daughter’s Fiance

Victoria Caputo is engaged!

Victoria Caputo is officially off the market!

The daughter of Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Michael Mastrandrea. Her mom, 52, confirmed the news on Instagram, complete with photos of cake and engagement ring selfies.

“Congratulations to my beautiful baby and her future husband Michael. Let the planning begin! #engaged #bridetobe #gettingmarried #longislandmedium.”

So who is Michael Mastrandrea? Here’s everything we know about Victoria Caputo’s finance.

1. He documented the proposal on Instagram.

Mastrandrea announced his engagement to Caputo on Instagram, where he posted a photo of himself down on one knee surrounded by candles, rose petals and twinkling lights.

“Last night I got to propose to my best friend. Victoria you’re the most beautiful girl in the world and I’m so honored and blessed to call you mine. Can’t wait to live this life with you babe, I love you,” he wrote. The post got liked almost 3,000 times.

He shared another photo of the two smiling and kissing.

“Still not over that moment and will never be over you #myprincessforever.”

Victoria Caputo, 24, also posted about the engagement, sharing the same sentiments.

“Still in shock,” she captioned the post with an engagement ring emoji.

2. He’s a doting boyfriend.

Victoria’s boo loves showing her off on Instagram. Her new fiancé posts photos of her all the time, with the sweetest captions of course.

“24 years ago today my beautiful woman was born! Happy Birthday you old fart still loving you more everyday,” he wrote once.

“Wish I could say I couldn’t love you more than I do right now, but tomorrow I know I will, Happy One Year Beautiful,” he wrote in another.

3. They’ve been together for over a year.

The couple got engaged after dating for a little over a year. On July 7, 2018, Mastrandrea wished her a happy anniversary. He proposed on Feb. 17, 2019.

A post shared by Michael Mastrandrea (@michaelmastrandrea) on Jul 7, 2018 at 10:52am PDT

4. He probably won’t be on Long Island Medium.

Fans of the show have noticed that Theresa Caputo’s kids, Victoria and Larry Jr., are more absent than they used to be. Meaning that we probably won’t see much of Mastrandrea and Victoria’s engagement.

“In all fairness, I mean, look our lives are all so different,” Theresa said on a show back in April. “When we started Long Island Medium, little Larry just graduated college, Victoria just graduated high school. You know, they’re growing up. Larry lives in the city now. Victoria now too.”

Caputo’s children are also probably still coming to terms with her separation from their father, Larry Caputo. They announced their split in 2017, with sources close to them saying that distance played a part in the end of their 28-year marriage.

“Especially with this, it’s uncomfortable and it’s hard for my kids,” she said. “They know that they can come to Larry and I, you know, if they ever want to talk about it. kind of just left it in their hands.”

They announced their separation via statement.

“After 28 years of marriage, we have decided to legally separate,” the statement read. “We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family. Please respect our privacy during this time.”

5. Despite her parents’ marriage issues, she still seems excited for a future with her fiance.

It can be hard for children of divorced parents to get excited about marriage in their own lives. But Victoria seems to be having no trouble — even despite the messiness that happened after her parents announced they were separating.

In June of 2018, PEOPLE reported that Larry Caputo was dating a new woman and moving on from Theresa. The 61-year-old told TMZ that he found “someone special.”

“I have moved on,” Larry said. “I’m fortunate enough to say that I have met someone special. But I’ll just leave it for that now.”

Just the April before that, Theresa told Extra that even though she and Larry were living on opposite coasts of the country, they were still taking their relationship and the possibility of getting back together “day by day.”

But Larry had other plans.

“I’ve been here 9 months now,” he told TMZ. “The separation was a three-month trial period and we’ve moved on from that point. We’re in divorce proceedings. That’s been going on for the last six months. It’s not finalized, I don’t know when it will be. But that’s where we’re at.”

“I know she’s doing well, I’m happy — we’ve moved on with our lives,” he added.

He also said he didn’t know if he’d be involved with Long Island Medium anymore; making that one more familiar face we won’t see on the show.

With you, life is a honeymoon

Long Island Medium is on Mondays 8/7c on TLC.

Emily Blackwood is a writer and editor living in California. She covers all things pop culture, news, and true crime.

As we get ready up for modern episodes of Long Island Medium (which begin airing on October 18), Theresa Caputo floods to that this impending season is particularly outstanding for her 25-year-old daughter, Victoria Caputo.

“Victoria’s committed, she is getting married,” Theresa gushes. “When we began Long Island Medium she had just succeeded high school, right? And now here we are and she is 25 and getting married.”

Victoria herself substantiated the exciting news back in February with an Instagram post of her and her to-be husband, Michael Mastrandrea.

Theresa Caputo Gives a Life Update on Her Daughter, Know About

They had reportedly been with each other for a little over a year when he banged the big question.

Michael, I love you very much and thank you for being who you are! I cannot wait to proceed with this journey with you and I am so excited to schedule our perfect day together!” she jotted down on Instagram at the time.

What is Victoria up to now?

Even though Victoria has existed on the show less and less, there is a lot going on in her life that is very exciting.

Theresa went on to clarify that some of the upcoming seasons will indicate her and her daughter’s wedding planning and deciding a wedding dress at Kleinfeld’s — home of TLC’s extra hit show Say Yes to the Dress.

When she is not planning a marriage though, Victoria labors as a balayage consultant at Salon Entourage in Syosset, New York, as per Instagram.

While Theresa and Victoria may stake a love of hair (Theresa is recognized for her autograph teased-out blonde ‘do), the Long Island Medium celebrity indicates that she and her daughter are really quite distinct.

That is why Theresa was caught off guard when she learned her daughter wanted an outstanding engagement party and robe.

‘Long Island Medium’: Does Theresa Caputo Plan On Getting Re-Married?

Theresa Caputo is back with a new season of Long Island Medium, and she’s not letting her divorce get in the way. Fans were worried for Caputo when they heard she and long-time husband Larry Caputo were splitting up. However, Theresa Caputo has since opened up about her amicable relationship with Larry after the split, her grief, and whether or not she can see herself re-marrying in the future.

Fans were shocked when Larry and Theresa Caputo announced their intention to separate after almost 30 years of marriage. When it came time for them to make their announcement, the Long Island Medium couple released a statement to People.

“After 28 years of marriage, we have decided to legally separate. We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family. Please respect our privacy during this time,” the Caputos explained to People.

Theresa Caputo revealed that the couples’ busy schedules made it challenging for them to find personal time for one another, and that they naturally drifted apart. “I’ve changed and he has changed. We’re both not happy, and, you know, it’s hard to try to work through that,” Caputo explained during an episode of Long Island Medium.

“I think a lot of the frustration has to do with we don’t spend the time together anymore and along with that comes the lack of communication. So it’s like losing your best friend,” said Larry Caputo.

Grieving, but amicable

Despite their split, Theresa and Larry Caputo have worked hard to maintain an amicable relationship with one another. According to the couple, there aren’t any hard feelings — only the natural grief that comes with this sort of split.

“It was nice not to just, you know, text him or talk quickly on the phone, to actually see him and get together, so, you know, we’re in a good place. We’re separated, but we’re in a good place,” the Long Island Medium told Access Live.

During an interview with Extra, Theresa Caputo addressed her relationship with Larry as they prepared for their daughter’s wedding. “Fantastic. We’re great, we’re planning … our little girl’s getting married,” she said.

However, Caputo is obviously still dealing with grief. Caputo told Us Weekly, “I’m grieving right now. I’m grieving my 30, almost 34 years, with Larry.”

“This is a grieving process, but things weren’t the same that they were 34 years ago. So, of course, I miss that aspect. But the way that things were at the end, no — I don’t miss that,” she explained.

When interviewing with Us Weekly, Caputo was asked if she missed being married. The Long Island Medium replied, “I do, but I don’t. I miss what once was.”

When the couple’s separation was finalized, a source told Us Weekly, “Theresa got married at a really young age and hasn’t really experienced life outside of Larry being married. Theresa is now living life and exploring solo … she’s figuring herself and it’s a whole world of adventure.”

Caputo later revealed to Us Weekly that she has been trying out dating. When asked if she’d ever consider marrying again, Caputo replied, “I never thought of it, and I have to say I don’t know. Right now, I would have to say no. I’m very content where I am in my life. I’m very blessed. Do I want to have someone to share companionship with and to have someone? Absolutely. But, to actually get married, I don’t know.”

Theresa Caputo is still not over the end of her marriage to ex-husband, Larry Caputo.

The “Long Island Medium” star said in a new interview she is still “grieving” her relationship.

“I’m grieving right now. I’m grieving my 30, almost 34 years, with Larry,” she told Us Weekly.

“This is a grieving process, but things weren’t the same that they were 34 years ago. So, of course, I miss that aspect. But the way that things were at the end, no — I don’t miss that,” she shared, indicating a tumultuous end for the former couple. The Caputos were married for 28 years and have two children, Victoria, 25, and Larry Jr., 26.

Theresa also commented at the prospect of Larry seeing other people.

“At the end of the day, that’s what we want out of life, is for us to be happy and to live our best lives. We always have to love, honor and respect ourselves. We’re both doing that and respecting each other in the same token,” the medium stated.

When asked whether she would get married again, the medium said she’s “never thought of it.”

“I’m very content where I am in my life. I’m very blessed. Do I want to have someone to share companionship with and to have someone? Absolutely. But, to actually get married, I don’t know.”

The new season of “Long Island Medium” premieres on Friday on TLC.

We may not see much of Theresa’s kids these days, but according to what the medium has said during interviews and written on Instagram, they seem to be doing extremely well. And fans can’t wait for Victoria’s wedding to happen. Life & Style reports Victoria got engaged to her fiance, Michael, back in February. “So this HAPPENED! Victoria’s ENGAGED,” Theresa posted on her Instagram. “Congratulations to my beautiful baby and her future husband Michael. Let the planning begin!”

It looks like wedding planning is coming along quite well so far, too. Back in May, Theresa talked to Extra about how she and Larry were getting along swimmingly, as they were helping each other make all the necessary wedding arrangements. And Victoria posted photos of her engagement party to her Instagram, too.

Victoria revealed she was being bullied for weight gain

Victoria looks stunning in all of her engagement party photos, but she hasn’t always been so confident in her body. Good Housekeeping reminds us back in 2018, Theresa learned her daughter was being cyberbullied for her weight. And Theresa even posted about her daughter’s bullying on Twitter back in October.

Thankfully, the Twitter post got tons of love from fans. As one supporter commented, “My daughter was bullied about her weight as well. I always told her to keep her head high and know that the bullies are just trying to hide behind their own insecurities.” And even Victoria addressed the bullies herself in August 2018 with this Instagram post. “Just want to give a shout out to all my haters. Yes i have gained weight recently and although i am not happy about it and have my insecurities it does not change me as a person ,” she started her post.

She still posts photos of her body on Instagram, and fans are supportive

Victoria’s call-out post from 2018 seemed very well-received — and it seems in 2019, she’s not letting the haters get her down, either. She’s posted many photos to Instagram that show her body-positive attitude, like this one of her in a swimsuit. And fans are absolutely loving how fearless and confident she is.

“So awesome that you arent afraid to show off those curves,” one fan commented on the swimsuit photo. And another added, “
V you are glowing!!” Yet another supportive fan wrote, “You Look Amazing! You inspire me to feel comfortable in my own Skin.So Thank you for always being real and your true self .”

Victoria’s fearlessness may also rub off on Theresa, too. As Theresa told Good Housekeeping in an interview, “It’s kind of disheartening when you post a picture of yourself and people are saying negative things ‘Oh, your hair, your nails are gross, what’s with that hairdo?’” But with Victoria’s confidence in her own skin, we know the medium will also keep believing in herself. Here’s to the Caputos and the soon-to-be beautiful bride!

Though Theresa seems to be living vicariously through her daughter just a little bit — as we expect all moms do when their daughter finally makes it official — we don’t see her gunning for a wedding of her own again any time soon.

Since the Long Island native split from her husband of 28 years, Larry Caputo, in June 2018, Theresa has been taking time for herself. “Theresa got married at a really young age and hasn’t really experienced life outside of Larry being married,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly. “Theresa is now living life and exploring solo … she’s figuring herself and it’s a whole world of adventure.” You go girl.

Luckily, the split was an amicable one, so the family can truly celebrate Vic’s engagement as a unit. “Theresa is much happier separated from her husband,” the source added. “There was no big event leading up to their split, but an honest conversation that it wasn’t working any longer and it was time to move on.”

We send the biggest congrats to the happy couple, and though Victoria has yet to confirm the engagement on her own Instagram page, we hope she posts something sweet and heartfelt soon!

Fans have flooded Theresa Caputo’s daughter Victoria with support after a sneak peek for next week’s episode of Long Island Medium revealed she had been harassed by trolls over her “weight gain”.

Victoria’s online ordeal took place over the summer after she shared photos of herself on social media. She later took to Instagram in response to the abuse, admitting that she had gained weight but adding: “Although I am not happy about it and have my insecurities, it does not change me as a person.”

She added: “For all of you who want to keep commenting about the way I look, just don’t. Worry about yourself because your comment ain’t going to make you any better of a person.”

Now fans are rallying behind Victoria after a preview clip of next week’s episode of Long Island Medium revealed her abuse at the hands of trolls. In the clip, she describes how people have been calling her “fat” on Instagram, and Theresa tells producers: “It’s heartbreaking that people are bullying my daughter online.”

The official episode description from TLC also describes how Victoria was “harassed” by trolls for gaining weight.

After the sneak peek aired, one fan wrote on Victoria’s Instagram: “I seen the preview to the next episode of LIM & I can’t believe people are calling you fat. You are absolutely gorgeous, whoever it is, is most likely jealous of you & will try anything to bring you down ❤ keep your head held high girl.”

Another added: “Girl you’re gorgeous inside and out!!! Ignore the haters, they’re ugly on the inside where it counts the most. You do you and keep that smile on your beautiful face! Love from WA Victoria!😘❤️.”

Victoria Caputo has always been a spitfire. Long Island Medium fans were introduced to her just as she was about to graduate high school and move on to college. Now she is a hairdresser in an upscale salon and dubs herself the “Long Island Balayage.”

After acknowledging the online negativity earlier this year, she appears to have shut things down for the most part. Her personal Instagram posts are now filled with photos where she is enjoying herself. She also has a separate account for her hairdressing business, featuring her balayage.

Long Island Medium was a family-centric show for several years. When it began, Theresa Caputo and husband Larry along with their children, Larry Jr., and Victoria did a lot of filming together.

Fans were left shocked when Larry and Theresa revealed last year that they had separated. The divorce was not easy on the children and Theresa has mentioned on several occasions how the kids don’t like to discuss their parents’ split.

Long Island Medium airs Monday nights at 8/7c on TLC.
