Cover fx enhance click

Review, Swatches, Shades: Cover FX Correct, Enhance Click Stick

Cover FX has come out with a new and very innovative product to hit the makeup market! It’s called the Cover FX Click Stick and several different types of products that you can place in the Click Stick.

First, you need the Click Stick, which retails for $8. It is a customizable, refillable beauty tool designed to hold your choice of two Correct, Cover, or Enhance Clicks. There is a shade range of 36 Correct, Cover, or Enhance Clicks to load into your Click Stick and turn it into the perfect portable tool to correct, conceal, highlight, strobe, and illuminate your complexion!

I have one of the Correct Clicks, which retail for $18 each, in shade Peach. These are cream color correctors to visibly even skin tone by neutralizing the appearance of discoloration. In the photo, I am wearing the Peach Correct Click underneath my eyes. It was a little deeper than the usual peach tones that I use to color correct but overall, I really liked it. I put my favorite concealer on top of the Peach Correct Click.

The Enhance Clicks are cream illuminators in a convenient stick that allows you to illuminate, strobe, and highlight your complexion with a luminous glow. These also retail for $18. I have this in the shade Rose Gold. This would be a perfect highlighter for deeper skin tones. On my more fair skin, it was too deep for that. So, I used it as a cream eyeshadow base and put a similar powder eyeshadow on top!

The Cover Clicks are Total Cover Cream Foundations for contouring, highlighting, concealing, and covering. This ultra-creamy formula is a cult favorite for its second skin texture and extreme blendability. These also retail for $18. I have these in two shades: N40 and N100. N100 is the deeper shade, and what I used to contour around my hair line. N40 is a little too dark for me to use all over as a foundation, so I concentrated it on the outer perimeter of my face and used a lighter foundation for the inner part of m face.

I found that the Cover Clicks and the Correct Clicks are slightly thicker in texture, which I enjoy, but they are not difficult at all to blend out. The Enhance Click seemed to be a little bit of a thinner texture, which I think a lot of mature women can appreciate since it will be used to highlight areas of the face that may be more prone to fine lines, such as the tops of your cheek bones.

I have never seen another company come out with a product quite like this. It’s a very interesting concept and one that makes your beauty routine a little more convenient!

My Experience with Cover FX Cover Click Foundation:

I was so bored of using liquid foundations that I wanted to try out something natural like a cushion foundation or a good BB cream from a high-end brand. So, when I was searching for one such product, I came across this stick foundation from Cover FX called as “Cover Click”. Cover FX has a unique concept behind these stick products. They have launched different types of sticks for various purposes; some of them are Cover Click (foundation, concealer, contour), Enhance Click (Highlighter, Strobing), Blush Click(Blush) and Correct Click(Color Corrector).

The Cover Click Foundation is very small, almost half the quantity is only present when compared to the stick foundations from other brands. Cover FX made it this way for another reason. They have a separate “Click Stick”. It looks like an empty silver barrel, which is sold separately. They have developed this click stick to hold two products from this stick range at a time, for example, we can put the foundation and concealer stick together in the barrel or the blush stick and the enhance stick on either side of the barrel. We need to press one end of the “Click Stick” to pop the required product from the other end. They have designed this outer case to make it more travel-friendly, and ease up the makeup application during commuting.

You can find the “Click Stick” on Cover FX official website or Sephora. So, I have purchased the cover click foundation from this range. It comes in many shades for skin tones with Golden, Neutral and Pale undertones. I chose the shade “G80”, which matches my skin tone perfectly. This product has shades for palest skin tones to the darkest skin tones, which is really a plus point. We can purchase a lighter shade and use it as a concealer, and the darkest shade will work well as a contour product. This product comes in a black shiny cardboard box, which contains the actual stick foundation that is housed in a small silver barrel with the name of the brand engraved on the top. The shade number is mentioned on the barrel as well as the outer box.

The quantity is very little as I have told you already, this is designed in such a way to use it on the click stick. But, I think the price of this product is also is in sink with the quantity they charge for what you get, nothing more or less. There is also another advantage with this product. Sometimes, we purchase a big bottle of a high-end foundation shedding a lot of bucks and eventually when that foundation formula doesn’t suit us, it will be a big let down as we have spent a lot of money on that product. So, if the product is less and correctly priced, we can move on when it doesn’t work for us, which is a win-win.

It is a cream foundation and blends like a dream on the skin. A little product is enough to give a natural finish to the skin. It provides light to medium coverage, but we can even build it according to our liking. I just apply two strokes of this foundation on my cheeks, head and neck, which provides a beautiful and natural “My Skin But Better” finish to the skin. However, it doesn’t provide a matte finish, instead, provides a satiny finish to the skin.

It doesn’t look cakey and feels like nothing on my face. It is super lightweight, and I love the way how it sits on my skin. I apply this cover click foundation, and then, finish it off with a compact powder, and my makeup is done. I think that this foundation works well with a brush, and within a few seconds, it blends well and it is quite time-saving than any other liquid foundation.

As for the staying power, it stays all day on my skin for more than eight hours without moving. I have an oily T-Zone, and by the end of the day, my nose felt a bit oily, but nothing noticeable. I used a blotting paper to take care of it. The foundation doesn’t oxidise and feels so good on the skin, and I have been using only this from the day I purchased, and I’m thinking to get a backup. So, what more should I say, I have already spoken a lot, hurry up and pick yours soon.

Pros of Cover FX Cover Click Foundation:

  • Easy to use.
  • Travel-friendly.

  • Huge shade selection.
  • Doesn’t oxidise.
  • Good staying power.
  • Blends easily.
  • Natural finish.
  • Doesn’t feel cakey.
  • Time saving.
  • Vegan.

Cons of Cover FX Cover Click Foundation:

  • T-Zone might get a bit oily after a long day.

A little while I ago I talked about the Cover FX Click Stick, in my ‘Canadian’s Guide to Cover FX‘ post. I promised a review of the Cover FX Click Stick, and I am nothing if not a woman of my word!

If you want to get all the details about the Click Stick, everything you need to know is right HERE.

“How does the Click Stick work?”, you might ask.

  1. Grab Your Cover FX Click Stick vessel.
  2. Choose whichever Click you would like to use, and remove the cap (keep the cap, in case you want to switch out, later on).
  3. Insert The Click into the vessel.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 on the other side of the Click Stick vessel.

Them, just pop the Click Stick into your bag, and you’re good to go. To touch up while you’re out, just poke the end of one Click, and the opposite one will come out. (Shawna’s tip: If you can’t get your second Click out, put the cap on the Click that has already been taken out, and insert it into the empty end, to pop out the other Click. Then pull your capped Click out, and you have an empty vessel.)

Cover FX Correct Click in ‘Green’, and ‘Lavender’

Cover FX Enhance Click in ‘Golden Peach’, and ‘Candle Light’

Cover FX Cover Click in ‘G40’, ‘P50’, ‘N50’, and ‘N80’

Here is a little ‘before & after’, when I used the Cover FX Correct Click in ‘Green’ and ‘Lavender’. I blended out the Corretc Clicks with a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. Then with that same sponge, I applied a mix of Becca Cosmetics Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation in ‘Fair’, with 2 drops of Cover FX Custom Cover Drops in ‘P20’.

According to the Cover FX website, ‘Green’ is used to correct severe redness, Rosacea, and blemishes. Ideal for shades P, N, G, 0-40 (Light & Medium Skintones). It really helped neutralize my redness, especially the redness around my nose, which I recently developed due to an allergic reaction. ‘Lavender’ corrects yellow, sallow skin & adds brightness. Ideal for shades P, N, G, 0-40 (Light & Medium Skintones). I don’t know too much about colour science, but I thought that it was pretty cool how nicely the purple blended into my skin, and brightened my face up.

To finish off my look, I used the Cover FX Enhance Click in ‘Golden Peach’ as a blush on my cheeks, and highlighted with ‘Candle Light’ on the very tops of my cheeks – both blended out with my fingertips. They started off quite light, when applied, but they were easily buildable. I absolutely looooved how the Enhance Clicks caught the light.

Wearing Cover FX Enhance Click in ‘Golden Peach’ and ‘Candle Light’. Also wearing e.l.f. Essential Eyebrow Lift Pencil, Too Faced Brow Envy Kit, Covergirl LashBlast Waterproof Volume Mascara, Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in ‘Cinnamon Kiss’, and It Cosmetics CC + Lip Serum in ‘Love’

The Click Stick (vessel) retails for $10, and will be useful for you if you like to keep your makeup in your bag and apply it during your commute, or touch up during the day. If you’re someone who likes to keep your makeup on your vanity, and not bring it with you, you could probably skip the vessel. The Correct Click (which contains 5.5 g of product), the Cover Click (which contains 5.5 g of product), and the Enhance Click (which contains 4.8 g of product) each retail for $24. My must-have out of all the Cover FX Click Sticks has to be the Enhance Click in ‘Golden Peach’ because who doesn’t love a good highlight? It catches the light jus!

In Canada, you can find Cover FX at Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart, as well as online at

Cover FX Enhance Click Highlighters

Cover FX released a new highlighter product called the . I adore their Custom Enhancer Drops so I was curious to see how these compare. The are cream illuminators that come in a stick form. They can be used to brighten, strobe and highlight your complexion but also add some color to your cheeks.

There are nine shades in the line and I got six to share with you. I received the shades in:

Celestial (pale glistening pearl)

Blossom (pearlescent pink)

Gold Dust (glistening pale gold)

Gilded (brilliant warm bronze)

Candlelight (shimmering golden bronze)

Berry (iridescent rosy mauve)

The are creams so they will look more natural on the skin than powder or their drops. They are packaged in small sticks which are very cute and so easy to travel with. You can either carry them on their own or Cover FX designed a Click Stick in which you can pop two shades.

The cream formula is super nice, glides very easy on the skin and blends effortlessly. It leaves you with a nice natural glow that never looks shimmery or over the top.

I’m a fan of cream products especially for summer because they’re very easy to use and feel more lightweight on the skin.

I really like all six shades. Well except of Blossom which is a beautiful shimmery light pink but it just doesn’t look good on my warm skin tone. Otherwise the other five I can use for different purposes.

Celestial and Gold Dust work really well as highlighters for my light to medium skin tone and I love using Candlelight and Gilded to warm up my complexion. They work really well as warm toned bronzers. And lastly Berry is a beautiful shade to add some pop of color to your cheeks and use as a blush.

Swatches L to R: Celestial, Blossom, Gold Dust, Candlelight, Gilded, Berry

If you’re looking for travel friendly cream highlighters that you can store easy and that don’t take up much space, the are worth checking out. I just love the tiny size and how compact they are.

I also recently got the new powder highlighters that they released so I’m planning on a blog post that will compare all three formulas.

Do you like wearing cream highlighters? What’s your favorite highlighter formula that you reach for on daily basis?
